Palma de Mallorca
This is a long way off, but back in October Jeff and I traveled to Palma de Mallorca, which is an island off of Spain. It was a last minute trip that Jeff found three days before. We awoke at 4:00am, so that we could travel the hour or so to the airport and catch our flight at 6:30am. After a quick flight, we arrived to a sunny palm-tree filled island that was coincidentally similar to San Diego. Our first stop was the huge cathedral on the edge of the water. It was beautiful inside and out, with a fantastic location. After visiting the cathedral, we searched out the bus to take us to our hotel. We had a nice room with a great view. Since it was such a sunny day, we headed across the street to the beach. After a day of relaxation and leisurely reading, we found an Italian cafe for some dinner.
